Often, without even realizing it, we carry around our stress and past experiences. Emotionally, we're burdened with our fears and past pain. Maybe you're feeling stuck and overwhelmed. Anxious and exhausted. Maybe it's getting harder and harder to deal with the stress of everyday life.
And this stress doesn't just impact us emotionally. It's also showing up in our physical body. Aching and discomfort. Back pain, headaches, tension, shoulders up to your ears, inability to relax. And maybe disconnecting from the body completely because all of this is just too much!
You are not alone. And I welcome you to bring all the messy, unfiltered, and stuck parts of you.
All of you is welcome.
Talk therapy can allow the mind space to heal. And it's also important to explore how stress has been impacting the body. A mind and body approach to healing. An approach that is informed by neuroscience and rooted in compassion and validation. I strive to help you safely explore the pain you have been in, become unstuck, and tap into your innate resiliency and your body's own wisdom to heal.

Finding the "right" therapist is hard! The connection with your therapist is such an important part of the healing process. It is invaluable when someone else "gets it". It is critical to know you are NOT "too much" for them. I've been there! It's frustrating, disheartening, and can completely stop the process. Maybe you've tried therapy before and have gotten discouraged. I get it. That's where the free phone consultation can come in. I encourage you to give me a call to see if it feels like a good fit. And call other therapists. Keep searching until you find what feels "right" for you. It is out there, and trust me, it can make such a difference in healing.
